all starts with a clear, objective business analysis. The world
is full of solutions looking for problems. We prefer to look
inside before we look outside. Tough, sometimes uncomfortable,
questions, but always asked by senior people who probably know, and
have
worked
in, the client’s category. The analysis leads to development
of alternative strategic plans; each strategy grounded in reality,
each linked to bottom line impact.
Development grows through three different phases:
- Strategic: assessment, alternatives, recommendations, set
measures
- Executional:
develop solutions, roll out, monitor competitive response
- Sustaining:
performance measures, adjust/refine, expand
And, we support our client throughout the process, and
until all measures are consistently achieving target.
While
we prefer to manage the entire process, it’s not uncommon
for clients to engage us for only some of these phases, or to
collaborate with existing suppliers on certain projects.
